About the festival
The “Vrnjačka New Year’s Fairy Tale” is the spa’s holiday programme: open-air New Year concerts, festive lights and events running until the Serbian New Year. It is put on by the municipality and the Vrnjačka Banja tourist organisation.
The main New Year’s Eve party is on Trg kulture and entry is free. For New Year 2026 Breskvica performed from 22:30. In earlier years the programme also had concerts before 31 December, daytime matinées from noon to 17:00 and a repeat New Year party.
The spa is in demand over the holidays: for the 2023/24 season the tourist organisation said New Year packages were almost sold out two months ahead. If you plan New Year here, book in October or November.
By day the party pairs with the pools and spas, which are open in winter too, and a walk along the decorated promenade. We add this season’s programme as soon as the organisers publish it.

2024
New Year 2024: Zorica Brunclić on 30 December, Amadeus Band on New Year’s Eve and Džejla Ramović for the repeat party. That season also saw the glass viewpoint open, 24 metres above the promenade.
