In winter you swim in Vrnjačka Banja in hotel and thermal pools that also take day visitors. A day ticket costs from 1,000 dinars (about €8.50) at the Waterfall aqua centre to 4,000 dinars (about €34) at the Tonanti hotel spa, and almost everywhere children under six or seven go free.

We checked the prices on 10 October 2026 on the venues’ own websites and price lists. Hotels change them over holidays, and places for day visitors depend on how full the hotel is, so call reception before you go.

Day ticket prices

  • Waterfall aqua centre (Merkur Novi): 1,000 dinars, a seven-day ticket 4,700.
  • Vrnjačke Terme: 1,200 dinars on weekdays, 1,500 at weekends; children aged 2 to 7 pay 800.
  • Rimski izvor spa (Merkur): 1,500 dinars for the wellness area, with a bathrobe, towel and slippers.
  • Hotel Breza: 1,500 dinars; hotel guests and children under 7 go free.
  • Hotel Slatina: 2,200 dinars for three hours; children aged 3 to 12 pay 750, a family ticket (two adults, two children) is 4,900.
  • Hotel Pegaz (Slowellness): 3,000 dinars for three hours, saunas included; children aged 6 to 14 pay 1,000.
  • Hotel Fontana: 3,600 dinars; children aged 7 to 16 pay 1,200, younger ones go free.
  • Hotel Tonanti: 4,000 dinars for the whole day, Monday to Thursday only; children aged 4 to 12 pay 2,000.

Fontana and Pegaz add 30 dinars of insurance to the ticket. Zepterme and Solaris do not publish prices for day visitors. Euro amounts are rough; you pay in dinars at the spa reception.

The warmest water: Vrnjačke Terme and Tonanti

Vrnjačke Terme, by the Slatina spring, has five indoor pools of thermal mineral water at 32–36 °C and two water slides. It is open every day from 10:00 to 19:00, the slides from 12:00 to 18:00. Night swimming is on Mondays and Sundays from 19:00 to 22:00 (1,000 dinars) and on Saturdays from 21:00 to midnight (1,200 dinars). Bring your own towel, slippers and bathrobe, as day visitors do not get them. The wellness area with a sauna and salt room costs 500 dinars extra.

Hotel Tonanti is in the centre, on Svetog Save street, and in our view has the best spa in town. Besides a 300 m² indoor pool it has an outdoor thermal mineral pool with water up to 36 °C, so you can sit in hot water under the open sky in January. The ticket covers 9:00 to 22:00, and a towel and slippers are included. Day visitors are taken Monday to Thursday only; for weekends, ask the spa reception (+381 66 887 7337).

The cheapest: Merkur

The Waterfall aqua centre is in the Merkur Novi hotel, one level below the ground floor. The large pool has mineral water at 28 °C, with a geyser, waterfalls and a small hydromassage pool, and the 1,000-dinar day ticket is the cheapest in town. If you stay a week, a seven-day ticket is 4,700 dinars.

Merkur also runs the Rimski izvor spa in the Thermal Mineral Bath building in the central park. Wellness entry is 1,500 dinars: a mineral-water pool, a jacuzzi, Finnish and Turkish saunas and a Kneipp stream. You get a bathrobe, towel and slippers at the door, so it is a good choice if you would rather not carry anything.

Hotel pools: Breza, Fontana, Pegaz, Slatina, Zepterme

Hotel Breza has a large indoor pool used in sessions: on weekdays from 9:00 to 14:00 and at weekends from 10:00 to 14:00. Every day there is a session for children with parents from 14:00 to 15:00, a second session from 16:00 to 20:00 and night swimming from 21:00 to 23:00. Non-swimmers are not allowed in, and the sauna is for hotel guests only.

Hotel Fontana has a recreational pool up to 30 °C, a hydromassage pool at 34–35 °C and a small round pool for children under seven. Day visitors get a bathrobe, towel and slippers. It is probably the busiest wellness in town, so expect a crowd at weekends and book a slot at the spa reception.

Hotel Pegaz (Slowellness) has an indoor pool of 14 by 7.5 metres with water at 28–30 °C. It is open from 11:00 to 21:00, and three-hour slots are booked in advance. Along with Zepterme it is the quietest place to swim, and after 17:00 only over-14s are let in.

Hotel Slatina has an indoor saltwater pool. A ticket covers three hours, and the 4,900-dinar family day ticket is the best deal for a family of four.

Zepterme is the wellness area of the Zepter hotel at the start of the promenade, with a 17 by 8 metre pool of thermal water at 27–31 °C. It is quiet and rarely full, but the hotel does not publish terms for day visitors, so call before you go.

Pools for children

Every pool takes children, but each has its own rules, and they decide how easy a visit is with a family:

  • Vrnjačke Terme: two slides, children aged 2 to 7 pay 800 dinars; under-16s only with a parent.
  • Fontana: a small pool for under-7s, the large ones from age 7; under-12s from 9:00 to 12:00 and 16:00 to 20:00.
  • Breza: a children’s session from 14:00 to 15:00; non-swimmers are not allowed in.
  • Slatina: children’s hours from 10:00 to 18:00 and a family ticket.
  • Pegaz: under-14s until 17:00; under-16s may use only the pool and salt room.
  • Tonanti: under-12s until 18:00, but not in the thermal pool or saunas.

With small children Vrnjačke Terme and Fontana make the most sense; for a family with children under 12, the family ticket at Slatina.

What to bring

  • A swimsuit; at Tonanti children must wear proper swimwear too.
  • A towel, slippers and bathrobe for Vrnjačke Terme. Fontana, Tonanti and Rimski izvor provide them.
  • Swim nappies for children under two or three.
  • Money for the ticket, paid at the spa reception; Fontana also takes cards.

A pool after skiing or a walk

A pool is the best end to a winter day: after skiing on Goč, 20 minutes’ drive from town, or a walk to the mineral springs. If you come by car, check where to park, as Tonanti, Zepterme and Rimski izvor are in the centre, in the paid zone.

If you stay in an apartment, the day ticket is your only pool cost. Look for a place to stay in Vrnjačka Banja near the pool you choose, and see what a trip costs for a full weekend budget. In summer Aqua Park Raj opens too, and all pools and spas are on the pools and water parks and spa and wellness pages.
