About the place
The “Waterfall” aqua centre is in the Merkur Novi hotel, one level below the ground floor, and is part of the Merkur Special Hospital. According to Merkur, it has the largest mineral-water pool in Vrnjačka Banja.
The pool water is mineral water at 28 °C, with a jacuzzi, hydromassage, a geyser, waterfalls and body jets. The wellness part has a Finnish sauna, a Turkish steam bath, warm benches and a cold room, and there is also the Merkur Gym and a massage centre.
For outside guests a day ticket is 1,000 dinars and a seven-day ticket 4,700 dinars, one of the cheaper ways to swim in the spa out of season. Massages are extra: a 15-minute partial massage 2,000 dinars, a 50-minute full-body massage 4,000, and a 60-minute premium aromatherapy massage 5,000 dinars.
Water at 28 °C is for swimming rather than long soaks. If you want it warmer, go to Vrnjačke Terme, where the water is 32–36 °C.
