About the place

Picture a ride along the forest roads of Mount Goč, through conifer and broadleaf forest, past fields of blueberries and wild strawberries, with fresh mountain air and views of unspoilt nature. Quad bike tours on Goč are run by Family adventure from Vrnjačka Banja, and they are one of the best ways to get to know the mountain above the spa in a short time: the lake, the peaks, the streams and the viewpoints.

No experience needed, with a guide. Every tour has a trained guide who knows each forest road. Anyone who has not driven a quad before gets a short lesson before setting off. The quads are automatic, easy to handle and built to carry two people comfortably, so one drives while the other enjoys the view, or you take turns.

Choose your tour. For a first taste there is a 30-minute ride. The one-hour tour (about 10 km) visits Selište Lake, a mountain stream and the highest peak of Goč, Krst (1,123 m), with views of Vrnjačka Banja and the surroundings. The two-hour tour (about 20 km) continues to the Lisača viewpoint, with the finest view of the spa, and to a viewpoint facing Mount Ljukten. The three-hour tour goes further still, through the village of Garešnica to the Zagrža river.

Sunset on the mountain. A special three-hour tour combines a day and a night ride: the same route to the viewpoints, then sunset over the mountains and a return through the forest in the evening. An experience to remember.

A picnic in nature. A picnic can be arranged with the tour: mountain herb tea, home-made coffee and juices, walnut brandy, savoury snacks, home-made cakes and seasonal wild fruit from Goč. For companies, Family adventure includes quad tours in its team building programmes, and you can also explore the mountain on foot on guided walking tours.

Getting to Goč and booking. Goč is about 15 km from the centre of Vrnjačka Banja, some twenty minutes by car. Tours run from April to November, and prices are per quad, from €40 for a 30-minute ride.
