About the place
If you have a competitive streak, like to have fun and want to discover a new talent, archery is the right choice. The range is in the central park of Vrnjačka Banja, by the Music Pavilion, in the shade of old trees, and it is run by Family adventure from Vrnjačka Banja, whose team is made up of sports and physical education teachers.
Your first hit with an instructor. No experience is needed. Before the first shot the instructor shows you how to stand, hold the bow, draw the string and aim, then watches every shot and corrects what needs correcting. Every shot closer to the centre is a small victory.
A sport for all generations. Archery is just as much fun for children, parents and grandparents. Children pick up the basics quickly and love the moment the arrow hits the target, and adults find out how steady the hands and how calm the mind must be for a good shot. A bow makes a little family contest easy: who is closest to the centre?
Equipment is provided. Bows for children and adults, arrows and targets wait for you at the range, so there is nothing to bring. Comfortable clothes and a good mood are enough.
On Goč too, for groups. For friends, family gatherings and companies, archery can also be arranged on Mount Goč, on its own or as part of a team building programme, with a picnic in nature.
Combine it with more fun in the park. Right next to the range is the Adventure park, also run by Family adventure, with raised obstacles and a zip line, so some can shoot while others take on the obstacles. The Bridge of Love and the promenade are a few minutes’ walk away, and there are more ideas in things to do with children and in nature and sport.
