From Belgrade, Vrnjačka Banja is about 1 hour 40 minutes by car: the motorway towards Niš, then the Morava Corridor motorway, which has an exit right at the town. There are 12 buses a day from Belgrade and they take around three and a half hours. There is no train.
By car from Belgrade
Take the A1 motorway from Belgrade towards Niš and leave it at Pojate, where the Morava Corridor branches off towards Kruševac. Stay on it past Kruševac and Trstenik until the exit for Vrnjačka Banja, which brings you to the edge of town.
- Driving time: about 1 hour 40 minutes without a stop.
- Toll: 1,160 dinars (roughly €10) one way for a car. Toll booths take cash and cards.
- Traffic: the road is rarely busy. The only place a queue forms is the roundabout at the entrance to town, and it clears quickly.
The slower road through Šumadija
The other route runs through Mladenovac, Topola and Kragujevac, then turns off at Vitanovac. It takes about two and a half hours, but it makes sense if you want to stop at the royal mausoleum on Oplenac hill or a winery in Topola. All three routes from Belgrade, with tolls, are compared in Belgrade to Vrnjačka Banja.
From Niš and the south
From Niš, drive the motorway towards Belgrade as far as Pojate and join the Morava Corridor there. The rest is the same as from Belgrade.

By bus from Belgrade
Buses leave from Belgrade Bus Station (BAS) at Antifašističke borbe 46 in New Belgrade. There are 12 departures a day, the first at 6:00 and the last at 20:30.
- Journey time: around three and a half hours, depending on the route and the number of stops.
- Fare: about 1,350 to 2,250 dinars one way (€12–19), depending on the operator. A return ticket is 1,880 to 2,850 dinars and is valid for 30 days.
- Tickets: at the station counters or online at bas.rs, where you also pick a seat and pay by card.
Read the route note before you buy. Some departures run via Kruševac and Trstenik, others via Kragujevac and Kraljevo, and a few involve a change of bus on the way. A direct one is worth a couple of hundred dinars more.
Going back, the last bus from Vrnjačka Banja to Belgrade leaves at 17:30, and the first at 4:05. If you want to stay for the evening, you will not get back to Belgrade by bus the same day.

By plane
Vrnjačka Banja has no airport. Most visitors from abroad land at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport and continue by rental car, private transfer or bus.
The closest airport is Morava (KVO) at Lađevci near Kraljevo. It has very few routes: this autumn Air Serbia flies in from Istanbul on Tuesdays and Saturdays, landing at 14:55. The schedule changes by season, so check it before you book.
When you arrive: where to park
The Promenade (Šetalište) is pedestrian only. There is a private car park right at its start that charges 100 dinars an hour, which works well for a day visit. If you are staying longer, ask your host about parking before you arrive: many guesthouses have a space in the yard, but in the centre it is not a given.
