Children’s playground in the central park

The children’s playground in the central part of the spa park has been completely rebuilt and opened on 5 June 2026. Children have played on this spot since the 1960s, and the rebuild was chosen by a public vote on the municipality’s capital projects. Work started on 1 October 2025.

The main attraction is a large pirate ship in the middle of the playground. Around it are swings, seesaws, spring riders, a roundabout, a slide, a climbing net and an obstacle course. Most of the playground has a tartan surface that softens falls.

In autumn 2026 the „Bagerko“ mini excavator park opened as part of the playground, where children up to about ten can operate small diggers. It is open when the park is.

Next to the playground there is an outdoor gym for adults, so parents can exercise while the children play. Music plays for the children, and there are benches for parents around the playground. Toilets are in the cafés and restaurants right next to it. The playground has new lighting, so you can stay into the evening, especially in summer, and it is under 24-hour video surveillance. It is looked after by the Vrnjačka Banja sports centre.

What is nearby. A few minutes’ walk from the playground are the Topla voda spring (about 260 m), the Zamak kulture (about 320 m), the Ferris wheel (about 470 m) and the Bridge of Love (about 550 m).

A day with children. The playground goes well with a ride on the Ferris wheel or a walk to the Bridge of Love. When it is cold or raining, the Waterfall aqua centre is about 700 metres away, and children’s prices at the other indoor pools are in indoor pools in Vrnjačka Banja.
